Bell ringing - learn the ropes at All Hallows'

5/2/2023

One of the bells at All Hallows' Almondbury
Ding dong merrily on high, in All Hallows' church the bells are ringing.

At least they will be each Saturday morning from February 11, when the ringing chamber will be open to visitors from 10am to 11am.

Ruth Elliott, the tower captain, says: "Please feel free to tackle the 42 spiral steps from the west door, opposite the church car park, to the chamber for a chat and maybe have a go!"

If you'd like to ring the bells more regularly, you are welcome to join the team for the weekly practice on Mondays from 7.30pm to 9pm. And you can hear the majestic sound of a spring peal on the Facebook link below.
