Bishop Musa from Rorya in Tanzania will visit the parish on Friday, September 15.

He will go to St Michael & St Helen's to see our wonderful food share before arriving at All Hallows' at about 10.30am for coffee.

It's at this point that we would encourage anyone who is free and interested to come and join us in welcoming him.

​He will then go o to Lowerhouses for lunch and visit St. Lucius' in the afternoon. As a Diocese we have been linked to the Diocese of Rorya in Tanzania for many years.

Bishop Musa was consecrated by the Archbishop of Tanzania in May 2021 when he became at 43, the youngest bishop in Tanzania. His diocese of was created from the diocese of Mara in 2011.

Some film-loving members of the congregation at St Lucius' launched a cinema club on September 22. The screening of the comedy The Duke on September 22, the first of six monthly events, was attended by more than 70 people. Further screenings, as shown above, will be on October 27, November 24 and December 15. Tickets: £6 on the door.
