ST MICHAEL & ST HELEN'S

 ​Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday at 11am. Please note exceptions below.
Holy Communion is celebrated on the first Wednesday of the month at All Hallows, starting at 10am.

Parish Evensong is sung at 6.30pm on the first Sunday of each month at All Hallows' or St Lucius'.

Morning Prayer in our Parish is offered on the following days:

Tuesday: 8.45am at St Lucius', Farnley Tyas.

​All Hallows' morning prayer will resume at some time in the Spring.

THE CHURCH YEAR

The Church Year is made up of six seasons and a number of Feast days. The seasons are: Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Easter and Trinity. The Church Year also includes periods known as Ordinary Time. 

​The Feast Days are: Christmas, The Naming of Jesus, Epiphany, The Baptism of Christ, The Transfiguration, Easter, The Ascension, Pentecost, Trinity All Saints' Day and Christ the King.

Each liturgical season is denoted by a particular colour which is used in church for altar coverings and clergy vestments.
