The work to repair and redecorate the ceiling panels of the north and mount aisles of All Hallows’ Church is well underway. Work is now estimated to continue into the middle of January. 

It is likely that the total cost will exceed £60,000. If anyone is minded to contribute, please contact our treasurer, Eric Lord, via the Parish Office on ​01484 541837.

​It’s the night before Christmas, and Bethlehem is holding its annual baking competition.

This year, though, there are a few surprise contestants: some shepherds, a choir of angels and three wise-looking chaps on camels.

There was a full house at St Lucius' Church for Bethlehem Bake Off, a nativity for primary children, delightfully performed by the pupils of Farnley Tyas First School.
