SHARING THE LOVE OF CHRIST IN OUR COMMUNITY

Holy Week begins on Sunday, April 2, with services in each of the three churches at the usual times. That day, there will be Evensong at St Lucius' at 6.30pm. More details on our services page.

WELCOME

We are a worshipping community across three churches who want to get to know and share Christ's love and joy in Almondbury and Farnley Tyas.

Each of our congregations has a differing style of worship, and much is going on. There is something for everyone in our inclusive parish.

We welcome everyone at all stages of faith, including 'not sure'.
We warmly invite you to join us!

OUR SERVICES

We offer a variety of worship within the parish. The Eucharist, or Holy Communion, is at the heart of our worship and is celebrated in the parish each week.

Evensong, a centuries-old service which brings together words and music, takes place at All Hallows' or St Lucius' on the first Sunday of the month at 6.30pm. It offers a chance to pause and reflect away from the noise and distractions of daily life.

Join us in praying for our local community and our world in Morning Prayer from Monday to Friday.

REFLECTIONS

Quieting ourselves in God's presence

An oak tree
Holy places surround us, and the place where we are, becomes one through prayer, through quieting ourselves in God’s presence, or sometimes simply through the coming of the Holy Spirit upon us.
