![]() Children from Farnley Tyas First School were invited by the Church eco committee to take part in a wildlife survey. The visit formed part of the school's Vision and Values ethos. A teacher writes: 'We were amazed at the activities they had set out for us and really enjoyed being out in the church yard in this lovely weather. We had a go at looking for flowers and plants, mini beasts and insects and calculating the age of a tree. 'The eco team were delighted with our children and amazed at their knowledge. They thought they were a credit to our school. To top it off we enjoyed a refreshing drink and a biscuit! We can’t wait to come again!'
