Delight as Rev Rob Savage is appointed Incumbent

The Parish of Almondbury with Farnley Tyas is delighted to announce the appointment of a new Incumbent.

The Rev Robert Savage comes to us from St Luke's Morton and St Mary's Riddlesden, where he was a curate. He will be licensed on June 29.

Before his ordination in June 2022, he worked for nearly 20 years as a secondary school music teacher. He also served as a governor of two primary schools.

​As a musician, he has regularly performed with different groups and bands. And he is no stranger to church organs.

Rob and his wife studied music at the University of Huddersfield and, following in their steps, their two children are also music undergraduates.
